Motorcycle Rental Requirements
Security Deposit
A security deposit of $1,000 will be taken at pick-up (Authorization Only) and must be processed via valid credit card.
Payment Methods
Rentals accepts the following methods of payment: Cash, Travelers Cheques, VISA, Master Card, AMEX and Discover. Travelers Cheques are not accepted for security deposit.
Pick-Up, Return, and Late Charges
Pick-Up Time of rental motorcycle is accepted during the mentioned (below) rental business hours.
What is included in your Rental Rate
Customer Orientation
Rental customers will receive an orientation to the motorcycle. We will cover all aspects of safe motorcycle operation, the clients' maintenance responsibilities, local and state laws.
Fuel
Fuel costs are the client's responsibility. Santa Clarita Harley-Davidson® claims no responsibility for motorcycle fuel consumption and mileage. You may prepay for a fuel refill. If prepaid fuel is not purchased and vehicle needs refueling, a $25 fuel charge will be added.
Maintenance Responsibility
The customer is responsible for checking engine oil levels at each refueling and reporting mechanical failures immediately. Instructions and procedures for maintenance expense reimbursement are provided at pick-up. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in motorcycle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance.
Optional Personal Accident and Personal Property Coverage
Personal Accident Insurance provides 24-hour accident protection to the primary renter and their immediate family for a death while traveling in/on the rented vehicle during the entire period of the Rental Contract Agreement. Passengers are protected only while in, boarding or alighting from the designated vehicle.
Personal Effects Insurance provides limited coverage for your personal belongings from loss or damage caused by theft of, damage to, or accident involving your rented vehicle. Personal Effects Coverage provides reimbursement for the actual cash value of the items subject to certain maximum, deductibles, limitations and exclusions." Add $5.95 per day.
Optional Supplemental Liability Insurance
Supplemental Liability Insurance provides additional protection for the renter and any listed authorized drivers from third party claims, which include bodily injury and/or property damage caused by the use or operation of the rental motorcycle. The cost of the Supplemental Liability Insurance is $6.95 per day
